The Rules….


This is an informal Bike Show and these rules are based more on common sense than convention. The intention is to make the classification of the bikes in the various categories, and the judging of the Show, as straightforward and fair as possible.


The Show Committee is not liable for any damage to any machines whilst being displayed at the Show, owners enter at their own risk.


Cost for entry is £3.00 for individuals. A bike may be entered into multiple categories on each day at a cost of £3.00 for each category.


Bikes may be trailered to the event but must be fully functional and comply with the Road Traffic Act. The owner may be asked to start and ride it. Once unloaded, vehicles must be removed from the site as there are no facilities to park trailers, towing vehicles or vans on site.


All bikes to be entered in the Show can be registered, by completing a Bike Show Entry Form, pre-booking is recommended to be entered into the Show.On-line entries will close on the 24th of June 2019. All Entry Forms will be retained by the Judges.


For those unable to pre-register via the internet, Entry Forms will be available from the LMW Control Tent during opening times or by downloading the Show Application Form and returning by email to the Bike Show Co-ordinator at the event, or by handing it directly to the Bike Show Co-ordinator at the event.


The Bike Show takes place between the hours of 10 am on Saturday the 6th of July 2019 until Midday on Sunday the 7th of July 2019. Once registered, bikes MUST be parked on site with their location confirmed with the Bike Show Co-ordinator.


There are 4 categories in the show:- British Bikes - European Bikes - Japanese - Vintage

Competitions for each category will be run on both days with winners in each category being announced on the Sunday.


A “Best of Show” overall winner covering both days will also be announced.


Judging will take place at 3pm on Saturday and Midday on Sunday. The winning bike in each class will have an Award Notice attached to it by the Judges. Each class winner in the Bike Show will be awarded a Certificate for that class. The bike judged ‘Best in Show’, selected from the Class Winners from both days, will be awarded an additional certificate and prize. All Prizes will be awarded and the winners informed on Sunday afternoon or by email or text. The results will be the opinion of the Judges, whose decision will be final.
